Nevertheless, we offer a warranty on our product of 7 years, or 1 million liters, or 200,000 starts and stops—whichever comes first.

Energy generating:
The Sensiblue generates its own energy through the flow of water, requiring a minimum water pressure of 0,3 bar (about 3 meters of water pressure) to power the generator.

Salt electrolysis:
A small amount of water is diverted to a salt container and an electrolysis cell. In this cell, sodium hypochlorite (active chlorine) is produced through electrolysis and a controlled current. This active chlorine is used to disinfect the water.

Residual disinfecting effect:
The system not only has an immediate impact on the water passing through the electrolysis
cell but also maintains a lasting disinfecting effect on all connected water pipes and storage. This helps to sustain water quality over time.

Limitations:
While Sensiblue is effective against bacteria and viruses, it does not remove particles or chemicals and does not kill all protozoa. Therefore, it is recommended to place a microfilter (candle filter) with a minimum filtration capacity of 5 µm before the Sensiblue system to remove these particles and chemicals.

Water disinfection:
The chlorinated water from the electrolysis cell
is redirected back into the main water.

Did you know that chlorine is the best & most reliable disinfection since 1908? We add just a little over 0,2 mg/l which is 2 to 3 times below the taste sensibility of chlorine (0,5-1 mg/l).

The electricity created by the generator is sufficient to power the embedded controller, the electrolysis cell, and a status LED, ensuring automated and efficient operation.
